Test Procedure of Loop Resistance Tester
The loop resistance tester, also known as contact resistance tester, is a special instrument for measuring contact resistance and loop resistance of switching control equipment. There are several steps to use the loop resistance tester. The following is a detailed summary by GDZX.
1. First, according to the four wire measurement method, connect the tested object to the instrument panel with a special test line, and pay attention to that the voltage measurement line should be connected to the inner side of the current output line.
2. Then connect the AC220V power supply, pay attention to the third line of the incoming line of the power supply, that is, the protective ground must be connected to the ground, press the power switch, and the ammeter and resistance meter will display "000" (one digit jumping is allowed in the unknown).
3. Press the measuring switch again, adjust the current output knob clockwise until the current meter displays "100.0", and then read the number on the resistance meter, which is the resistance value of the tested object, and record the data. (if "1" is displayed, it means that the measured circuit is out of range).
4. After the test, turn the current output adjusting knob to the minimum in the counterclockwise direction, reset the measuring switch, and then cut off the power switch. If you want to repeat the test, just reset the measuring switch, clamp the testing pliers again, and then press the measuring switch.
