What Is The Difference Between Capacitive Divider And Transformer?
FRC series AC/DC high voltage divideris a resistance-capacitance equipotential shield voltage-dividing high-voltage measuring device. Mainly used for pulse high voltage, lightning high voltage, power frequency high voltage measurement. It is a better choice to replace the high voltage electrostatic voltmeter. It has the characteristics of easy operation, intuitive display, high precision, small size, light weight, etc. It is suitable for power plants, substations, high-voltage electrical equipment manufacturers and high-voltage laboratories as ideal equipment for high-voltage measurement.FRC series AC/DC high-voltage divideris composed of high-voltage and low-voltage display meters, which need to be connected with matching cables.
The difference between capacitive voltage divider and transformer is:
1. The transformer induces induced electromotive force through the change of magnetic flux to change the voltage of the alternating current; the capacitive voltage divider changes the alternating voltage through the capacitive reactance during the charging and discharging process;
2. The transformer can be boosted or bucked; the capacitor divider cannot be boosted;
3. The input power of the transformer changes with the change of the output power, that is, it increases with the increase, decreases with the decrease, and is always equal; and the input power remains unchanged when the voltage divider is no-load;
4. When the transformer is working, the magnetic flux passing through the iron core is constant, and the voltage across the coil follows Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. When the voltage divider is working, the loop current is a fixed value.
