How Many Test Methods For Turn To Turn Insulation?
Afterunderstanding the basic principle of the turn to turn insulation tester, how much do you know about the turn to turn insulation test method? Want more details? Next GDZX will introduce it to you immediately.
I Test preparation
Check waveform coincidence. Connect two groups of test wires of the instrument to the same winding respectively. If the instrument works normally, the two attenuation oscillation waveforms shall be completely coincident.
II Test method
1. φ(phase) connection
This method is used to judge the basic condition of turn to turn insulation fault, which is suitable for testing the winding with outgoing line at both ends of each phase. During the test, the user can select one phase winding (such as U-phase) as the reference part and the other phase winding (such as V-phase) as the test part, and simultaneously apply the specified peak high-voltage impulse on the U-phase and V-phase to compare the similarities and differences of the two attenuation waveforms. Then switch in turn and test again.
2. Y(wire) connection
This method can be used to test the winding with Y connection or the winding with high power. During the test, the user can select a group of two-phase series winding (such as U-W phase) as the reference part, and another group of two-phase series winding (such as V-W phase) as the test part, apply the specified peak high-voltage impulse pulse on the U-W phase and V-W phase at the same time, and compare the same and different attenuation oscillation waveforms. Then switch in turn and test again.
3. Delta (angle) connection
This method is suitable for testing the windings which have formed the delta connection method. During the test, the user can select a group of two-phase series winding and the third winding in parallel (e.g. U-W phase) as the reference, another group of two-phase series winding and the third phase winding in parallel (e.g. V-U phase) as the test piece, apply the specified peak high-voltage impulse on the U-W phase and V-U phase at the same time, and compare the similarities and differences of the two attenuation oscillation waveforms. Then switch in turn and test again.
4. Single phase coil or winding test
For the single-phase coil with two identical windings, the test method similar to the three-phase winding can be used for testing, or the winding of the same specification can be used for comparative testing. During the test, the user can select a winding with the same specifications and parameters as the tested part, and the turn to turn, winding to winding and ground insulation are intact as the reference part. At the same time, the reference part and the tested part are applied with the specified peak high-voltage shock pulse, and the same and different attenuation oscillation waveforms are compared.
In order to display and observe the peak voltage accurately and conveniently, it is recommended to short the two high voltage test terminals (H1, H2) before testing.
